(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Naohisa Yagi) has created the brand “CLOUDY”, which works with customers to “support someone through shopping”, and the German company CLOUDY. We are pleased to announce the release of “CLOUDY FLOWER ESSENCE” items, a special collaboration design with chenille brand FEILER’s new line “FEILER CLEAR LABEL”. The two companies started collaborating in 2021, and this year marks the fourth time. We have received a great response, with some of the released products selling out on the same day. Customers who purchase our products also highly value the fact that a portion of the proceeds are returned to African workers, making this a popular collaboration. Donations from Feiler are being used to help Ghanaian workers, who usually work away from their children, with the cost of returning home to see their children in their hometowns once or twice a month. The original textile drawn by CLOUDY’s Ghanaian designer is expressed in chenille, a traditional German craft fabric. We have a wide variety of items made with chenille, including Feiler’s standard items such as handkerchiefs and towels, as well as bags and pouches. This time, we are releasing a design pattern called “CLOUDY FLOWER ESSENCE” that is made up of colorful flowers. Its harmony and rhythm create a beautiful image reminiscent of a flower garden. Funds generated from a collaboration with Failer, a brand that has been passed down and loved by families, will be donated to Ghanaian workers who usually work away from their children. The money will be used to support efforts to help with the cost of returning home to meet people. We hope that through this activity, we will not only create moments of laughter between parents and children, but also provide an opportunity to learn about the working environment of women in Ghana and the current situation of parents and children. This initiative allows customers to participate in supporting women and children in Ghana while enjoying fashion with Failor Clear Label.
