Last year, she held her 40th anniversary +1 anniversary live in the entertainment industry, “Chiemi-chan Festival 2023,” in four locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Fukui, and in winter, she held her first Christmas dinner show in Tokyo.
This year, Chiemi Hori has been active as an artist, with “CHIEMI STYLE 2024” ~come to my room~ scheduled to be held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall on April 20th. We have decided to hold our first fan meeting on May 5th at Shinsaibashi Kakuza in Osaka! [Profile of Chiemi Hori] She entered the entertainment industry at the 6th Horipro Talent Scout Caravan and debuted in March 1982 with “Shiokaze Girl”.
The drama “Stewardess Story” in which she appeared in 1983 was a huge hit in Japan.
As a mother of seven children, she is active in a wide range of areas, including television appearances, talk shows related to education and health, and music activities.
In 2019, the pain in my tongue that had been going on for six months became unbearable, so I went to a university hospital in Tokyo. After an examination, it was discovered that I had stage 4 tongue cancer that had spread to my right lymph node. She publicized her illness on her blog because she wanted to reduce the number of people like herself who were diagnosed with cancer late. I underwent a major surgery in which more than 60% of my tongue and lymph nodes were removed, and tissue from my thigh was transplanted and reconstructed. After that, she wrote a book about her life fighting the disease, “Stage For~From Tongue Cancer Stage 4 to the Stage of Hope
(Fusosha),” and “Hori-day,” Chiemi Hori’s official blog, which is updated daily to share her real-life experiences with more people. It is transmitting.
