The first wave of Sai no Kuni Saitama Arts Theater original goods starts accepting applications from April 1st (Monday)!
*”Seat number plate key chain” & “Stage flooring coaster” *
(Left) Seat number plate key chain (Right) Stage flooring coaster To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of Saitama Arts Theater, Saitama Arts Theater will be selling original goods related to the theater. The first series is two limited-edition items made using old parts removed during large-scale renovation work.

Old audience seats in the large hall (seat number plate)
The seats in the large hall have been used by many people, from artists to audiences, since the museum opened. The only seat number plate in the world has been made into a leather key chain. Handmade by FILHO in Hanno City.
*You cannot choose your seat number.
*Some seat number plates may have scratches or stains. Please note that the texture is due to 30 years of history.
*The leather is vegetable tanned cowhide, so as you use it, it will become more glossy and amber in color. At the same time, it also becomes smoother to the touch.
*Since the metal fittings are made of brass, they will age (change over time) along with the leather. Please enjoy the changes. *Sold as a set with coaster (selling price 5,000 yen).

Large hall (stage)
The stage in the large hall has hosted famous performances such as the Sai no Kuni Shakespeare series, the Condors led by artistic director Kondo, and world-famous dance companies such as Pina Bausch and Jiri Kylian. The stage floor has been reborn as a coaster. It was produced by Studio7Squares in Higashimatsuyama City.
*This coaster is made from waste materials generated during renovation work. Some items may have noticeable nail holes or scratches, but please note that this is due to the 30-year history of the theater. *This is the same coaster as the one distributed as a souvenir at the “theater preview” held on February 8th.
