Komoro Distillery will be holding a special project in conjunction with the Sakura Festival at Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen, which has been selected as one of the “100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots” in Japan (April 1st to April 25th). Enjoy an experience unique to this season to celebrate the arrival of spring.
・Spring special plan: During the period, the welcome pairing set offered in the regular plan (KOMORO Experiene) will be changed to a special menu with a cherry blossom theme. Please enjoy the pairing menu of a refreshing highball with the flavor of cherry blossoms based on New Make (unaged sake) and sweets with cherry red bean paste. ・Newborn aged in cherry blossom barrels (whiskey aged for less than 3 years): We offer a limited number of 60 glasses of special Newborn with the scent of cherry blossoms per day. Enjoy the whiskey aging process unique to Komoro Distillery while feeling the cherry blossoms blooming in the glass.
・Limited pre-order for limited edition bottles in cherry blossom barrels: We will be pre-selling for pre-orders for limited edition bottles whose key malt is whiskey aged in cherry blossom barrels, which is unique to Japan. Please note that only 1,000 bottles will be available to visitors during the event period. Delivery is scheduled for 2026.
Komoro Castle Ruins Kaikoen is located right after getting off at Komoro Station on the JR/Shinano Railway. It takes 10 minutes by car from Komoro Station to Komoro Distillery. During the Sakura Festival, a free shuttle bus will run to Komoro Distillery from Komoro Station every 30 minutes. The free shuttle bus also stops at Hokkoku Kaido in Komoro City, so enjoy a leisurely day of walking around the city and enjoying your stay in Komoro City in spring.
