Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa (Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture) is located in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa, at the entrance of Yanbaru, where the rich subtropical forest and blue sea spread out, based on the concept of “Playing with the Island and Connecting with the Forest.” The “Early Summer Herb & Spice Fair” will be held at Buffet & Grill QWACHI during lunch time from April 13th (Saturday) to June 30th (Sunday), only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

At “Early Summer Herb & Spice Fair,” we will prepare dishes with refreshing and stimulating flavors that are perfect for Okinawa’s early summer, when the short winter ends and the days gradually become hotter. You can enjoy dishes made with herbs and spices using a variety of cooking methods such as smoking, aging, and fermentation. “Skinned Pork Belly Cristian” is a crispy grilled pork skin with skin heated at low temperature using Jeniper berry, which has a spicy and slightly sweet taste, and bay leaf, which is a standard herb for stew dishes, and various types of chicken stew with tomatoes. The menu features richly flavored dishes such as “Poulet Basquese”, which has a unique flavor made with Herbes de Provence, which is made with herbs from the Basque region, and Pimento Espelette, a chili pepper from the Basque region.
In the lively open kitchen, you can choose from toppings such as BBQ pork, chili con carne, coriander, island pork sausage, and sweet chili sauce, and create your favorite combinations such as chili con carne sausage sandwiches, BBQ pork sandwiches, and Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. We will provide sandwiches. Please enjoy the dishes that will blow away the heat.
