Attachment 3 About Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a service that allows you to insert a credit card or prepaid card into Apple Wallet, which is standard on Apple devices such as the iPhone and Apple Watch, and use it as touch payment or electronic money.
Greater security and protection of personal information than with cards are key elements underlying Apple Pay. Even if you set up Apple Pay on a device such as an iPhone, your card number will not be stored on your device or on Apple’s servers. Your device will be issued with a unique number, which will be encrypted and safely stored in a secure area within your device. When you use Apple Pay, your card number will not be notified to merchants.
You can also use Apple Pay for online payments in apps and on the web. Payment can be completed by simply entering Touch ID, Face ID, or passcode, and there is no need to enter shipping address, contact information, card number, etc. each time you shop, making payments quick and easy. Your card number will never be known to anyone, making it extremely safe and private.
