From April 26, 2024 (Friday), we will be holding an event “Defense Forces Holiday” with the anime “Kaiju No. 8”.
We have announced detailed information on events such as POP UP SHOP and stamp rally.
“Monster No. 8 x Tachikawa City Defense Members’ Holiday” has been decided!

This event was made possible because Tachikawa is one of the bases of the Japanese Defense Force, which Kafka aspires to join.
We will be holding a POP UP SHOP, holding a stamp rally, and exhibiting life-size figures of Kaiju No. 8 and character life-size panels in Tachikawa City to welcome fans of the anime “Kaiju No. 8” who have come to Tachikawa.

Participate in the digital stamp rally and get limited items!

Find the monster and defeat it!
Follow the event’s official X account “@KJ8_t24″ to find and take photos of monster panels installed at facilities in Nakagawa City during the event!
88 people will be randomly selected to win gorgeous prizes from those who post images of monster panels on X with the tags “#Monster Subjugation” and “#Monster No. 8”!
The target monster to subjugate will change between the first and second halves! [Campaign period]
First half: April 26th (Friday) to May 31st (Friday)
Second half: June 1st (Sat) – June 30th (Sun)

What is Kaiju No. 8?

Kafka Hibino had aspired to join the Japan Defense Force to subjugate monsters, but before he knew it, he gave up on that dream and started working at a cleaning company specializing in monsters.
“Let’s annihilate all the monsters together.”
Kafka begins to pursue his dreams once again after seeing the success of his childhood friend Mina Aheki, the commander of the 3rd unit, and meeting his junior colleague Reno Ichikawa, who is aiming to join the Defense Force.
However, just then, a mysterious small monster transforms him into a monster with great power!
Kafka, who was nicknamed “Monster No. 8” and was chased by all of Japan, did not give up on his dream of becoming a defense member and faced the monster disaster.
