(Note 3), we have set a goal of reducing GHG emissions from the entire value chain to net zero (Note 4) by fiscal 2040, and have obtained net zero certification from SBTi.
We are promoting CO2 emission reduction activities in the upstream supply chain and CO2 emission reduction activities among major business partners, and from fiscal 2016, we will include efforts to encourage secondary business partners and set targets in line with SBT (Note 5). Requesting settings. We support activities by providing simple tools that allow you to visualize your company’s CO2 emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and determine compliance with SBT level target settings.
Contributing to the visualization of CO2 emissions throughout the supply chain – As a member of PACT (Note 7) sponsored by WBCSD (Note 6), our group is working to become the world’s first society to realize inter-company data sharing of product carbon footprint information.
