Saga Art University/Saga Art Junior College (President: Masako Sasaki, hereinafter referred to as “Saga Art University”) and West Japan Railway Company Keiji Branch (Branch Manager: Tsuyoshi Zai,
hereinafter referred to as “JR West Keiji Branch”) will complete the project in March 2024. On April 29th, we concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with the aim of mutual cooperation and contributing to the development of local communities through the power of art.
1. Cooperation details
(1) Promoting attractive town development and solving local issues (2) Revitalizing the local economy through tourism promotion and industrial development
(3) Environmental conservation activities
(4) Promoting collaboration with residents
(5) Promoting the use of public transportation and improving safety (6) Promotion and development of academic research, education, traditional culture, etc.
(7) Fostering and interacting with human resources and promoting lifelong learning
(8) Other matters deemed necessary for mutual collaboration and cooperation. 2. Main initiatives based on the agreement
(1) On-campus recruitment of catch phrases and characters for JR Hozukyo Station (2) Beautification and environmental improvement through JR Sagano Line station decoration design, etc.
