Their debut mini-album “Kitto, Zettai, Absolute”, released on Wednesday, January 17th, achieved the number 1 spot on both the “Oricon Weekly Single Ranking” and “Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales.” JOY achieved the remarkable feat of exceeding 100,000 copies shipped on the first day of release, and the momentum will not stop in 2024≒JOY, but today, a special program “Congratulations! Near Joy 2nd Anniversary! YouTube Live!” will be held to commemorate the group’s 2nd anniversary. , was streamed live on YouTube “=LOVE ≠ME ≒JOY Channel.”
In the special program, in honor of the number “2” representing the second anniversary, two people will form a pair, and the two members of the pair will work together to take on two projects. “Let’s decide the strongest duo! The final audition was held on January 30, 2022, and on March 29, 2022, along with the members’ announcement, producer Rino Sashihara herself announced that the group’s name would be “≒JOY.” On September 3rd of last year, approximately 8,000 people attended the ≒JOY 1st concert at Pacifico Yokohama National Hall, and held the first tour ≒JOY from the end of last year to the beginning of the new year. The 1st tour “Absolute” was held and was a great success. Their debut mini-album “Kitto, Absolute, Absolute” will be released on January 17th (Wednesday). (It debuted at No. 1 on both the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and Billboard JAPAN Top Albums Sales. Cumulative shipments exceeded 100,000 copies on the first day of release.)
