Tsuruga Resort Co., Ltd. (location: 4-6-10 Akanko Onsen, Akan-cho, Kushiro City, Hokkaido/President: Masayuki Onishi) has completely renovated the buffet restaurant “La Mer” at “Lake Saroma Tsuruga Resort”. We will reopen on Friday, April 26, 2024 as a modern-style facility designed with the historical culture of Okhotsk and the natural scenery of Lake Saroma in mind. It will be reborn as a new restaurant that will serve dishes made with plenty of oysters and scallops from Lake Saroma, as well as other ingredients from the surrounding area, in an open kitchen with a lively atmosphere. At “Lake Saroma Tsuruga Resort”, the buffet restaurant “La Mer” will be completely renovated from April 26, 2024 (Friday), and the hotel concept will be “a resort for adults who enjoy leisurely time”. We will renew it with a chic, yet modern and stylish design that we have inherited.

The interior design is based on the design concept of history and ruins, as the Tokoro Ruins Forest in front of the hotel was certified as a nationally designated important cultural property in June last year, and the magnificent nature of Lake Saroma. We will create a calm and private space with an expressive interior.
