PARCO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as PARCO) will hold an exhibition titled “From the Madness Mountains” series of the speckled beef production scenario “Madness Mountains” at PARCO (Ikebukuro, Sapporo, Shinsaibashi, Nagoya) in four cities nationwide. We will be holding an exhibition called “Call.”

This work, which is based on the setting of “At the Mountains of Madness”, one of the masterpieces left by H.P. Lovecraft, the founder of the “Cthulhu Mythos”, has been well received by TRPG players, and has various themes such as murder mysteries and settings. A series of works is being developed. In addition, it is a powerful content that attracts many fans, with two crowdfunding campaigns aimed at turning it into an anime movie, and a total of more than 300 million yen was collected.
PARCO will be holding an exhibition that expresses the worldview of the “Madness Mountains” series by Madara Gyu.
The exhibition focuses on the “Mountains of Madness” itself, which is the setting of the story, and at the venue, images of the Mountains of Madness are displayed on a huge screen, making you feel like you are actually a climber or an adventurer. You can experience it. Furthermore, when entering the exhibition, customers will be given one of five handouts with missions written on them, and there will also be an experience element in which they will take action to clear the missions within the exhibition hall.
At the venue, we plan to sell limited edition goods featuring the series’ characters (K2, Azusa Hotaka, Koji Osko) drawn specifically for the exhibition, as well as multiple Madness Mountains items that can be used for everyday use.

“Madness Mountains” series
A series of works based on the worldview of the novel “At the Mountains of Madness” by H.P. Lovecraft, the founder of the Cthulhu Mythos, and starting with the TRPG scenario “Mountains of Madness – Mountains of the Evil God” created by Spotted Ushi. The TRPG scenario first appeared in the video “Climbers’ Cthulhu Mythos TRPG” posted on Nico Nico Douga in 2017. The scenario was highly acclaimed, and the series has been expanded into various forms such as murder mystery and stage adaptations. In addition, two rounds of crowdfunding with the goal of turning it into an anime film raised a total of more than 300 million yen, and production is currently underway.

He is a qualified mountaineering guide and is also involved in publishing the mountain magazine “Yaku no Ashiato.” In addition to the “Madness Mountains” series, his representative works include the “New Testament Netlore” series, “Emocroa TRPG (system design)”, “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction. NARRATIVE (planning and supervision)”, and the card game “OVERЯOID”.
