At the “3rd Momosta Business Plan Contest – OKAYAMA STARTUP AWARD 2024 -” held by “Momotaro Startup Cafe” (Momosta), a startup support base operated by Okayama City, on March 23, 2024, the Faculty of
Engineering 3 Kazuhei Onishi won the grand prize in the student category.
The “Momosta Business Plan Contest” is an event in which Momosta solicits business plans from entrepreneurs in and outside the prefecture, students working on startups, and the general public, and judges and awards business plans. Four people in the general category passed the document screening and took the stage.
Mr. Onishi has created a service called “Acaridge,” titled “Pursue what you like,” as a platform that provides learning that bridges universities and high schools. We announced a business plan to deliver information to high school students who are motivated to learn. He also introduced the services he is currently building at an exhibition booth and emphasized that he would collect feedback from users and work toward further improvement of the services.
Upon receiving the award, Mr. Onishi said, “All of the speakers’ presentations were amazing, and I never thought I’d win, so I’m really happy.” I’m looking forward to brushing up on Acaridge based on the advice I received from the judges.
