Jiraku, whose mission is to create an environment where people with internal disabilities can work comfortably, will begin regular deliveries of ramen and tsukemen for husbands whose wives work despite having disabilities. This is a menu that many men like and is easy to make. We create happy and smiling families across the country while balancing disability and work.

Jiraku Co., Ltd. will begin regular delivery services from April 1, 2024, in order to solve the hassle of preparing meals for husbands of working couples who are both receiving treatment for disabilities or illnesses. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and the Consumer Affairs Agency are also supporting the project.
1.Background of starting the business
The background to starting this business is that CEO Sakiyama became disabled in 2022, and when her husband started making meals, she had trouble finding shopping and menus. This was the first problem we faced when we started out as a married couple with both parents working with disabilities.
At first, it was from the perspective of the “eater.” However, in order to make it last long, it is important for the creator to make it fun and easy. I realized that the shopping bags on the commuter train would probably be too narrow for my shoulders. I changed my
perspective to the “creator” side.
