*From April 1, 2020, Kashiwa City will fully introduce the “Concern Consultation AI Chat System”, the first municipality in the country to do so, as a tool that allows people to easily discuss their concerns. *

Kashiwa City has set up a “General Welfare Consultation Desk” to accept a variety of consultations, but the environment surrounding each citizen has changed with the times, and some citizens with concerns have become isolated. There are cases where the situation worsens because it does not connect well with the social system. Therefore, we will introduce a “Concern Consultation AI Chat System” that allows those who feel that it is a hurdle to consult over the phone or face-to-face to feel free to discuss their concerns as a first step.
Please note that Kashiwa residents can consult for free.
*What is the trouble consultation AI chat system…*
This “worry consultation AI chat system” is a system where counseling AI supervised by a certified psychologist accepts consultations. You can use it from any device, including computers, tablets, and smartphones, so you can consult with us about your concerns anytime, anywhere.
*Results of demonstration experiment*
Prior to its introduction on April 1, 2020, a demonstration experiment was conducted for three months from August 22, 2020 to November 21, 2020.
The total number of chats during the demonstration experiment period was 2,348, and the age range of the callers was young people in their teens and 20s, accounting for about three-quarters of the total, and the number of calls was about health/mental health, love/sex, school, etc.・We received a particularly large number of inquiries regarding bullying.

Currently, we specialize in listening, but in the future, we will create a system where counselors can connect with administrative desks and support organizations as needed, and help counselors solve problems.
Furthermore, while utilizing these functions, we will proceed with various initiatives to ensure that appropriate support is delivered to those who need it.
