The “Kando Kodomo Shokudo” and “Smile Kodomo Shokudo,” which we support in opening and operating, are more than just places to eat. Taking advantage of the fact that it is attached to a restaurant, it will be held every day, and will also function as a place for children to learn, play, and have dreams and goals. Furthermore, it is a place where they can gain real social experience and acquire the skills to survive in society.
Adding economic value to restaurants
Children’s cafeterias cannot continue to operate without a balance between social contribution and economic profit. Through the management of the children’s cafeteria of the Kando Children’s Association, we aim to contribute to the local community, to become a place where new children in the area can stay, a place to watch over them, and a place that is necessary for the local community. One of the purposes is to eventually lead to a steady increase in customers for restaurants, and also to contribute to company branding and recruitment.
In three years, there will be 200 children’s cafeterias with restaurants attached where you can eat, learn, and have real social experiences.

Our dream (goal) is to expand the number of “Kodomo Shokudo” restaurants with attached restaurants to 200 stores nationwide in three years. Through our efforts to date, we have provided many children with a safe place to live and nutritionally balanced meals (approximately 7,300 meals in total), and we have also provided children with the strength to thrive in society. We have provided a place for students to have valuable experiences that foster their own dreams, as well as a place where they can dream about their future. By expanding “Children’s Shokudo” with restaurants throughout the country, we will be able to support even more children who will support Japan in the future. For the growth and happiness of children, with your help, we will increase the number of children who are strong and full of dreams and hopes. “April Dream” is a project by PR TIMES in which companies broadcast their dreams that they hope to eventually come true on April 1st. We are seriously aiming to make this dream come true.
