“Miyakojima Kurima Resort Seawood Hotel” is operated by Iida Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Musashino City, Tokyo, President: Shigehiko Tsukiji) on Kurima Island, a remote island located at the southern tip of Miyakojima, Okinawa Prefecture. From April 27th (Saturday), we will start offering a new activity called “Phantom Island” Landing Cruising by Seawood HOTEL, in which you board the ship and head directly to “Uni-no-hama”, which is known as the “Phantom Island.”

“Uni-no-hama” is known as a “phantom island” with a 360-degree ocean view. “Uni-no-hama” is a shallow island made of white sand floating in the sea near Irabu Ohashi Bridge, which connects Miyako Island and Irabu Island. It is a marine spot where you can enjoy the beautiful sea of Miyakojima 360 degrees and experience the mysterious feeling of standing on the horizon or in the middle of the sea. This activity is a new marine activity where you board a boat directly from Nagahama Beach, which is adjacent to the hotel, and land at “Yuni no Hama”. While sea kayaks and SUPs are commonly used in many activities at Uni-no-Hama, Seawood Hotel uses a stylish French-made boat called a wave boat that sails by docking a boat and a personal watercraft. This boat is rare even in Okinawa Prefecture and is being introduced for the first time on Miyakojima.It is also called an active boat because it can be easily connected and disconnected from the watercraft on the water and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
