Hidaka Printing Co., Ltd., based in Nakama City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was founded in 1919. We were founded as a printing company exclusively for a coal mining company when it was established in Nakama City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Currently, our fourth president, Keitaro Hidaka, is at the helm, and we are launching new innovations one after another to survive the surging wave of digitalization.
The shift away from paper is accelerating due to the recession in the printing industry that has lasted more than 20 years and the progress of digitalization due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. In order to respond to these changes in the times, Hidaka Printing Co., Ltd. opened an online shop specializing in construction slips last year called “Architectural Slip Printer,” and will start a video production service business this year.
The president himself opened a YouTube channel and began appealing to local businesses.
The video production service offers a monthly flat-rate subscription plan, providing video content at a cost that is less burdensome for local businesses and small and medium-sized businesses.
The purpose of this initiative is to further deepen our customers’ branding and “convey their strengths in an easy-to-understand manner” through attractive and effective video content.
