Even now, there are rocks and stones that give a sense of history, such as the “Bakoseki” and “Bajoseki,” placed at the summit of Mt. Komagatake. Our hotel benefits from the blessings of the mountains, including geothermal steam and fresh spring water. Today, we are able to carry out our business activities thanks to the “Yamagami”, the gods who dwell in the mountains, and as a token of our gratitude, we have installed bamboo lights on the torii gate.

CHIKAKEN
A unit centered on “Chika (Chikao Ikeda)” and “Ken (Kenji Miki)” who met at Sojo University. In April 2007, he established CHIKAKEN, a company that produces and produces “Bamboo Akari,” which are lights made by drilling holes in bamboo, based on the “Festival-style town development” advocated by Keiichi Uchimaru, who he studied with. Based in Kumamoto, he lights bamboo lights all over the country and continues to create “landscapes” and “stories” that are unique to each region. We aim to ensure that “bamboo light”, which connects “people to people, people to cities, and people to nature,” is not consumed as a temporary “business,” but is passed down as a new Japanese “culture.” .
