Asian Rural Institute Principal Tomoko Arakawa will be a guest speaker at the Takasaki movie screening and Rotary Club regular meeting. The documentary film “Sacchan, Welcome Home” is a film about Shoko Yajima, a doctor who devoted herself to medical care in Kamagasaki, a town of day laborers, and passed away at the young age of 34 in 2009. ……
“Sacchan, Welcome Home” is a documentary film about Shoko Yajima, who worked as a doctor in Kamagasaki. A screening will be held on April 27th (Saturday) at Tamago Hall, Takasaki City General Welfare Center. Tomoko Arakawa, Principal of Asian Rural Institute, will be speaking on the panel discussion as the principal of Asian Rural Institute, where international students from all over the world gather and study from diverse social environments.
