) is scheduled to be open until April 14th (Sunday), which will be the “longest business day ever” in 54 years.

On April 13th, the charity sales event included Yukima Horishima, a bronze medalist on the Japanese ski mogul team at the Beijing Olympics, and Miki Ito, a former ski mogul player who represented Japan at three consecutive Winter Olympics. The three Ito sisters, Azusa Ito and Satsuki Ito, former ski mogul athletes who competed in the World Cup and World Championships, will also be there to help raise money.
(The relief money will be sent to the Japanese Red Cross Society through Maibara City and will be donated to the affected areas.) We have set up a “donation box” to deliver your “goodwill support and feelings” to the disaster area.

Skiing and snowboarding is a winter leisure activity that many people enjoy by taking advantage of the snow. The ski slopes of Gran Snow Okuibuki
We will deliver 2 days of “charity sales donations” to the disaster victims. * [Reasons why we decided to conduct charity sales] *
As a ski resort business that takes advantage of the natural resource of snow, we were deeply saddened by the natural disaster known as the 2020 Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred in January of this year. While the resource “snow” can be turned into a leisure activity in the form of ski resorts that entertain many people, it also has the potential to become a natural disaster.

That’s why, as a business that uses natural resources, we held a two-day charity sales event on April 13th and 14th to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. We have decided to donate “all proceeds from lift sales” as a relief fund.
“I sympathize with the feelings of all the disaster victims and sincerely hope that recovery can be achieved as soon as possible.” As a company that conducts business while receiving benefits from various people and communities every day, we hope to continue to give back and contribute in the form of “social contribution.”

* [Summary of Gran Snow Okuibuki] *
Located in the northern part of Shiga Prefecture, this ski resort boasts one of the largest snowfalls in Kansai. It is known for its easy access from the Keihanshin and Chukyo areas, as well as its high altitude and good snow quality, with a total of 14 courses that take advantage of the natural terrain, and attracts 260,000 visitors a season, mainly day-trip skiers and snowboarders. Collect. Taking advantage of our strength as a self-managed ski resort, we operate all ski resort-related facilities (cableway facilities, restaurants, rentals, schools, etc.) in-house. In addition, in recent years, the ski resort has built Japan’s fastest high-speed lift, created a new course (with a maximum slope of 46 degrees), introduced snowmaking equipment, and introduced an automatic ticket gate system (ACS), causing ski resorts to suffer from a recession. In order to overcome the current situation of the industry and lead to further development, we are actively investing in equipment that incorporates advanced technology.
