SOZOW School High School combines “education x IT” (= edtech) and “education x entertainment” (= edutainment, curiosity-based learning) to integrate “Learn, Play, and Work” borderlessly, and We aim to be a school for a new era that fosters people who are quick to grasp changes, learn and grow on their own, and create their own future.
In particular, in addition to “digital literacy” to fully utilize cutting-edge technology, we place “career” and “money” in our curriculum as 21st century education.
By partnering with professionals, companies, and organizations who are active on the front lines of society, we will cultivate practical skills while raising the resolution of society, and support students in forming their own career path after graduation. Additionally, through our partnership with existing correspondence high schools, we provide support for general subject learning and support for obtaining high school diplomas.
During the crowdfunding campaign for the school’s establishment from January to February, we received support from many people and achieved a 203% achievement rate, far exceeding our goal.

On the other hand, according to a survey by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the percentage of students who choose to go on to higher education or get a job after graduation is 95.6% for full-time high schools, while it is lower at 66.8% for correspondence high schools. This current situation shows that there is not enough support for students to independently choose their career path after graduation.
SOZOW School High School utilizes its experience in operating online free schools for elementary and junior high school students, and utilizes various IT tools such as a virtual campus that allows students to attend school with avatars from anywhere in the country, a unique live streaming system, and communication software, to help students who have never attended school. We provide an interactive and inclusive online learning environment where even children can learn with peace of mind. Each student is accompanied by a working mentor, who supports each student’s individuality and builds their confidence to enter the workforce.
