Pictoria Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Hayato Akedo, hereinafter referred to as “Pictoria”), which creates IP using AI-based technology, is comprised of Sony Innovation Fund, Z Venture Capital Co., Ltd., and Kiraboshi Capital stock. We raised Series A2 funding totaling 230 million yen from one company and one other company. Through this, we will strengthen research and development of BtoC content that utilizes AI characters, and further focus on BtoB marketing and recruitment. In addition, to commemorate the fundraising, a video will be released in which members of Pictoria’s AI character agency “AI CAST” interview four investors.

In this Series A2 round, we have completed financing of 230 million yen. These funds will be used for research and development to increase the number of AITubers, a content led by Pictoria, and for the creation of a platform where anyone can freely create their own AITubers. Pictoria will utilize AI while respecting the entertainment culture that Japan has cultivated, and will continue to increase the number of effective use cases of AI.
