Gaming-focused blockchain Oasys has announced a partnership with LayerZero Labs, developer of the Omnichain interoperability protocol. Starting with the use of ONFT (Omnichain Non-Fungible Token) in Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics(TM): Grimoria Chronicles”, we aim to provide a new user experience by improving the interoperability of the ecosystem.

Traditionally, transferring in-game assets or NFTs between different blockchains has been a technically complex, time-consuming and expensive process. However, with the adoption of ONFT (Omnichain Non-Fungible Token), a new NFT standard developed by LayerZero, the wrapping and middle chain methods that were originally necessary are no longer necessary, allowing smooth and secure NFT transfer between different blockchains. transfer is possible.
Through this partnership with LayerZero Labs, we will first complete integration with Home Verse, Layer 2 of the Oasys blockchain, and plan to proceed with adoption in other Verses (Layer 2) and Hub (Layer 1) in the future. As the first use case, it has been decided that ONFT will be adopted in the blockchain game “Champions Tactics(TM): Grimoria Chronicles” provided by major French game company Ubisoft. Ubisoft places interoperability at the core of its Web3 games business. Achieving this with Champions Tactics(TM): Grimoria Chronicles, the company’s first blockchain game, is an important step in that vision. Oasys believes that in order to develop blockchain games and increase the number of users, it is essential to provide an experience unique to blockchain games.
