Bakraku Business Card releases a function that allows you to limit the customers that can be used for payment. Significantly strengthened security functions, making it an even safer corporate card
LayerX Co., Ltd., which aims to digitize all economic activities, has released a “payment destination restriction function” for the “Bakuraku Business Card”. By restricting the merchants that can be used to make payments for each issued card, fraudulent use and unintended payments can be prevented, allowing you to use Bakraku Business Cards more safely than ever before.

Release summary
This function prevents unauthorized use and unintended payments by restricting the business partners that can be used to make payments for each card in advance.

The business partners to be restricted can be selected from those that customers often use, such as e-commerce/mail order, advertising, cloud, software services, etc. If there is any unauthorized or unintended use, the payment will fail and you will be notified with a payment failure notification.

As of April 12, 2024, it is available as a beta version and is only available to customers who have applied. Availability to all customers is scheduled for May 2024.

Release background
In order to prevent unauthorized use and unintentional payments, conventional Bakraku Business Cards had a payment period and upper limit for each card. However, when paying for high-value web services such as cloud services or advertising usage fees, it was necessary to set a high limit on the card amount. This could allow for unintended payments. Another issue was that it was difficult to set an upper limit when the usage amount might increase due to fluctuations in foreign currency rates.

To address these issues, Bakraku Business Card has released a “payment destination restriction function” that prevents
unauthorized use and unintended payments by restricting the payment partners for each card. This makes it possible to use Bakraku Business Cards more safely than ever before, and improve business efficiency by distributing cards to employees.
