A high school student who loves fish and has been going to Lake Biwa since he was 2 years old. In 2022, when he was a junior high school student, he published “My First Biwako Fish.” He has been visiting the Lake Biwa Museum since he was a child, and when he heard about the dire situation with the aquarium exhibition room at the Lake Biwa Museum, he provided support in the following ways.

Donations for “Aquatic Exhibition Restoration Support Donations” At the Lake Biwa Museum, for a limited period of time (November 15, 2020 – March 31, 2020), mainly for companies and organizations, we will donate 500,000 yen per unit for the restoration of the aquatic exhibit. We accept payments starting from yen. We have received a donation of 700,000 yen from the sales of Rui Kurokawa’s goods (see 2.).
2. Support for the first round of Lake Biwa Museum crowdfunding

A new work to support the museum’s crowdfunding campaign “Reviving the aquarium exhibit! Support the restoration of the tunnel aquarium | Lake Biwa Museum [1st round]”, which was held from November 15, 2023 to January 31, 2024. The museum’s crowdfunding campaign was widely promoted by creating goods and announcing a plan to donate the sales of new goods and the picture book “My First Biwako Fish” during the crowdfunding period to the Lake Biwa Museum.
We also received messages of support and posted them on the

We received an illustration of “My First Biwako Fish” as a pre-exhibition for the Aquatic Illustration Exhibition, which was held from August 1, 2023 to April 7, 2024. The Aqua Tribe Illustration Exhibition, which was started with the aim of creating an Aqua Tribe Exhibition Room together with the users, was a great success. More details about this release:
