In the restaurant industry, which is facing a serious labor shortage, many companies are working to improve operational efficiency through labor-saving measures such as robots and self-ordering systems. However, on the other hand, there is also a need to strengthen the uniqueness of brands and maintain and improve high-quality customer experiences.
FOUR SEEDS FOODS EXPRESS has developed a solution that simultaneously improves service quality and operational efficiency at all 50 directly managed stores, including the gourmet burger and sandwich restaurant “Kua Aina” from Hawaii and the pizza chain “PIZZA-LA EXPRESS.” As a countermeasure, we decided to introduce “ABILI Clip”.
As a first step, by remoteizing the store service and product quality management that supervisors are responsible for, we will increase the productivity of each supervisor and ensure consistent service quality and operations with fewer people than before. We will make efforts to maintain our sexuality. Next, we plan to periodically distribute content such as videos about problems faced in the field. Furthermore, once these measures are on track, we plan to create a training curriculum aimed at improving staff skills and career advancement. Through these initiatives, we will contribute to improving on-site productivity and sustainable service quality in the restaurant industry.

Previously, supervisors had to visit each store and directly check on-site conditions. However, by using ABILI Clip, this process changes dramatically. The interactive video posting feature allows supervisors to manage stores and provide guidance remotely. For example, staff members can record and post videos of the store’s cleaning status, product arrangement, food stock status, etc., and supervisors can receive feedback from headquarters, such as “OK” or “NG”, as well as advice and praise. You can send messages.
ABILI Clip’s remote control of routine management tasks also increases opportunities for supervisors to focus on more important topics and deepen communication with staff when visiting stores. This approach is expected to achieve both efficient operations and improvements in the quality of human resource development.
Comments from Director Shigeyuki Kishino
The shortage of personnel is a serious issue for the restaurant industry, and our company is no exception to this, and is one of our most important issues. Considering the future population decline that has been confirmed, there was a growing sense of crisis that the same operating and management methods as before were reaching their limits. As one of the solutions, we thought it was essential to improve productivity by promoting DX of business, and when we learned of ABILI Clip, we were considering implementing it. Store SV utilizes ABILI Clip’s two-way communication functions such as videos and images to strengthen the management level, and by going remote, the actual travel time that was previously taken can be used for store management tasks, improving efficiency and productivity. We aim to
In addition, by enhancing remote store checks and training programs from the headquarters, we are reducing the burden on store managers while also providing uniform skills to people with various lifestyles, including students, housewives, seniors, and part-time staff. We hope that by creating an environment where it is easy for these employees to learn and have them play an active role, we will be able to improve the level of disparity among store staff and lead to improved productivity.
