[Hotel Nikko Nara] New shaved ice “Ruby Chocolate Ice” will be on sale from Friday, April 26, 2024
* Hotel Nikko Nara (8-1 Sanjo Honmachi, Nara City, Nara Prefecture, General Manager Ono Oka) will open the lobby lounge from Friday, April 26, 2024.
We will be selling a new shaved ice “Ruby Chocolate Ice” at the fountain (3rd floor). *
Ruby-colored espuma and colorful toppings
In Nara, the holy land of ice, each store is working hard to improve their shaved ice technology and develop menus, and each store serves delicious shaved ice that makes use of its unique characteristics, and many customers visit Nara every year. Hotel Nikko Nara also offers Espuma shaved ice throughout the year, and we will be selling new ice from April 26th (Friday) so that you can enjoy new flavors.
This time’s shaved ice is made with ruby chocolate espuma sprinkled on top of soft shaved ice, and sprinkled with glittering jewelry sugar and crackling candy chocolate. The ice is filled with pineapple soaked in syrup, creating a dish with a perfect balance of sweetness and refreshingness. Please enjoy your meal in the comfort of our hotel lounge.
*Espuma is the process of processing ingredients into a mousse-like foam using nitrous oxide.

Two types of shaved ice are always available at the Lobby Lounge Fountain. “Mango Yogurt Ice” will be sold from April to May, and “Momo Ice” will be sold at the same time as Ruby Chocolate Ice from June to August. *The event may end as soon as the ice runs out.
