Avanade signs comprehensive partnership agreement with Kanan Town, Osaka Prefecture to promote regional digitalization and DX

[April 17, 2024 – Tokyo] Avanade, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Junichi Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as Avanade), a leading Microsoft solution provider, is located in Kanan-cho, Osaka Prefecture (Minamikawachi, Osaka Prefecture). We would like to inform you that we have concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with the county and town mayor (Shogo Morita) regarding the promotion of digitalization and DX in the region. The conclusion of this
collaboration agreement aims to contribute to the creation of regional vitality by promoting digitalization and DX in the town, improving resident services, streamlining administrative work, developing human resources, and promoting academics in the town. The purpose is Avanade and Kanan Town have concluded this agreement regarding the following items.
(1) Matters related to improving resident services through
digitalization and DX of government.
(2) Regarding the development of digital human resources.
(3) Matters related to work style reform, telework, and promotion of workation. (4) Matters related to solution development for resolving regional issues, etc. (5) Other matters related to the realization of a digital society in the town. Additionally, as part of the collaboration, we will provide generative AI services for counter operations at town halls.
Also today, a partnership agreement signing ceremony was held at Kanan Town Hall, where both companies confirmed the details of their cooperation.
