* ■“CR Fortnite CAMP” event report *
Over the course of two days, this camp aimed to improve playing skills for the competitive esports title “Fortnite.” Through direct guidance from coaches who are former professional athletes, we implemented a program to develop participants’ logical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills. We also prepared a program to deepen understanding of the various job types in the game industry, and provided
participants with an opportunity to think about their future careers.

* 【First day】*
* ▶︎Use “Player Notes” to make learning a habit*
At orientation on the first day, we distributed an original booklet called “Player Notes” in which students can write about goal setting and reflection on the program, in order to help them realize the importance of making learning a habit.
During recreation, participants conducted a program in which they used player notes to self-analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their own play styles and introduced themselves to the group.
At first, the atmosphere was tense, but through self-introductions, participants were able to find friends of the same generation who share the common goal of becoming professional athletes, and the relationships among the participants deepened. .

* ▶︎Challenge challenges to improve basic play skills and build teamwork* We had them take on conditional challenges on Fortnite’s practice map and learn about basic play skills and teamwork. In the highly difficult tasks that teams were trying to clear, participants could see their team bonds deepen as they exchanged opinions and worked together to clear the tasks, even though they struggled.

* ▶︎“Original uniform presentation and commemorative photo session” to enhance professionalism towards the final day*
At the final program of the first day, “Professional Gamer
Certification Ceremony,” Coach Ruri presented original uniforms to all participants, and a professional photographer took a photo session just like a professional player. It was a valuable experience that raised the awareness of the participants as they approached the final day.

* 【the 2nd day】*
* ▶︎Direct guidance from former professional players! Teach you the practice methods and play styles you used during your active days* Tonpi on the second day? Coaches and Coach Shiras also joined in and conducted a 2-on-1 program where one coach provided direct guidance to two participants. Coaches who are former professional players taught techniques tailored to each participant based on the practice methods and play styles they practiced during their active days. The participants were excited to be able to talk with people they admired, but they also seemed to be working seriously, discussing issues and concerns they were having.

* ▶︎The culmination of this camp, challenge the game in the same environment as professional gamers! *
We held 1v1 and 2v2 matches to present the results of the two days. Tompi, who also serves as a commentator at actual esports tournaments? The coach and Coach Shiras provided live commentary on the match, allowing the participants to try out the match while experiencing the realism that professional athletes experience at a tournament. The participants were happy that their efforts had paid off, and although they were sometimes disappointed, they looked back on the match and showed a willingness to continue learning.

* ▶︎An opportunity to think about your future career*
2nd “CR Fortnite
CAMP”, we will be inviting coaches who are active in various fields, including streamers, tournament commentators, and coaches for professional player teams, as well as sponsoring companies, to share their knowledge of occupations and occupations other than professional players in the game industry. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to find out.

* ■Event satisfaction level/voices from participants and parents * A total of 16 people, ranging from fourth-year elementary school students to second-year high school students, participated in this camp.
When we conducted a participant survey, we found that 100% of participants were satisfied with the event, and 100% of them answered “yes” to the question “Would you like to participate next time?” *Number of participant survey responses: 15
-Voices from participants-
・I was able to directly talk to Ruri and Shiras, who were playing professionally, about what I could improve and what I was worried about.
・I realized my ability through 2on1 lessons and game tournaments. ・Ruri was able to watch the 1v1 directly. I was able to win the 2v2 game tournament.

-Voices from parents-
・I was very excited to be coached by someone my child admired. He said that he could see that he had improved when he played tournament matches.
・The best thing about it was that I was able to learn from an actual coach and make friends with the same dreams as me, rather than online. ・Anyway, he seemed to be having fun talking about his improvement in the game with great enthusiasm. I think it was a really great event. The trial and error attitude is connected to my daily studies, so I thought I was having fun while studying!
