Fumie Katsura talks to leaders from all over the country and tells them about the charm of their cities. “Fumie Katsura wants to meet the leaders from all over the country! “#41” will be broadcast on BS Yoshimoto on Saturday, May 4th. This time, I hired Cassis Orange (Poppo, Arata Nakamoto), a comedian who lives in Okinawa, as my assistant, and we traveled to Tomigusuku City, Okinawa Prefecture, a popular resort area closest to Naha Airport.

The program begins with filming at Toyosaki Chura Sun Beach, which is said to be one of the largest in Okinawa Prefecture, with a total length of 700 meters. On the beautiful white sand beach, locally grown cassis oranges and Okinawan torks bloomed.
Despite some mishaps, such as being unable to say the word
“Tomigusuku” and having the sound of an airplane passing overhead enter the microphone, Fumie quickly became acquainted with Cassis Orange, who has a brightness unique to Okinawans.
Afterwards, the trip to Okinawa began in a peaceful atmosphere, with the three of us talking to locals having a beach party on the beach.

Fumie is curious about the mayor’s unique career.
In the second half of the program, we had a conversation with Mayor Tsuguto Tokumoto at Tomigusuku City Hall, and got to know the mayor’s true face and his thoughts on city government.
Fumie carefully listens to the mayor’s history, including his childhood, high school, vocational school, and working life. When I learned that the mayor worked at a swimming school before becoming a member of the council, and later worked for a bus company, I was struck by his unique career and wondered, “What is this?”
