Cluster Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Naoto Kato; hereinafter referred to as “Cluster”), which operates “cluster,” one of the largest metaverse platforms in Japan with a cumulative event attendance of over 35 million people, is an incubator based in Barcelona, Spain. We have decided to sponsor the program “GameBCN”.
What is GameBCN? It is an incubation program in Barcelona, Spain, and is a central program in the European game market with the aim of nurturing the game community and indie game creators in Barcelona, Spain, and developing the market.

During this time, we learned about GameBCN 9th edition, an incubation program in Barcelona, Spain, in which the government takes the lead in supporting game developers, and decided to form a partnership with them.

Researched cosmology and quantum computers at the Faculty of Science, Kyoto University. After dropping out of the same graduate school, he spent about three years as a hikikomori. In 2015, he founded Cluster, a startup that makes full use of VR technology. In 2017, we released “cluster”, a VR platform that can hold large-scale virtual events. Currently, it has evolved into a Metaverse platform where you can not only hold events, but also gather with friends using your favorite avatars and post and play online games. In 2018, he was selected as one of the “30 Japanese under 30 who are changing the world” by the economic magazine “Forbes JAPAN”. Also in 2022, he was selected as one of the top 20 in the “Japanese Entrepreneur Ranking 2023”. His books include “Metaverse: Goodbye Atom Era” (Shueisha/2022)
