At Funabashi Keiba, the third event of 2020 will be held from May 27th (Monday) to May 31st (Friday). Not only will the 3rd “Wakashio Sprint (SIII)” [Wednesday, May 29th] be held, but we will also hold events that beginners can enjoy, such as Carrotta Greetings and Beginners Support!
Even if you are new to horse racing, please feel free to take this opportunity to enjoy Funabashi Keiba!
■What is “Wakashio Sprint (SIII)”?
Established as an open special 1,000m race in 2019 with the aim of enriching the 3-year-old sprint race of Minami Kanto Horse Racing. The following year, in 2020, it was changed to 1,200m, and from 2021 it was upgraded to an SIII major prize. First-place horses will be given priority entry into the Narashino Kiratto Sprint (SII: Funabashi Racecourse) and Yushun Sprint (SII: Oi Racecourse).
