Photographer Leslie Kee has photographed many world famous people, including Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé.
Originally from Singapore, I overcame many hardships during my childhood. His passion for photography began when his mother gave him a camera at the age of 13. Yumi Matsutoya, who helped him after losing his mother and becoming an orphan while working, was his dream, and he came to Japan with a single desire to meet Yumin, and has been photographing her for over 20 years since then. I continue to do so. His photographs, which he takes with the thought, “This may be the first and last time I meet this person,” deeply capture the charm of the people he photographs, and have moved many people. This is a close-up documentary that follows the daily life of Leslie Kee, who believes in the potential of photography and aims to continue to bring life-changing excitement and joy to all those involved in her work and those who view her photographs.
