Iwaki Sports Club Co., Ltd. is a new company established in response to the conclusion of a contract with the Japan Sports Agency for the “FY2025 Sports Industry Growth Promotion Project “Stadium and Arena Reform Promotion Project (Advanced Example Formation Support).” A press conference will be held at Iwaki FC Park on Saturday, May 4th to report on the results and progress of the Stadium Review Committee “IWAKI GROWING UP PROJECT ~Weaving Thoughts, Connecting Communities~ (hereinafter referred to as IGUP)” did.

We have announced that we will accelerate our efforts to formulate a stadium improvement plan that will be submitted to the J.League by the end of June next year. We will continue to share details of our past activities and future moves with you at various opportunities. In addition, we would like to hold a separate conference for our supporters to share progress and exchange opinions, so we will notify you once the schedule and other details are decided.
Initiatives in 2020

Subcommittee I for the purpose of concept creation by citizens and a youth project to collect opinions from children and young people have been launched, and activities to solicit opinions regarding the stadium from visitors at Iwaki FC home games have been carried out to help with the construction of the new stadium. We have been collecting opinions and building momentum toward this goal. The proceedings were published as an “IGUP report” on Iwaki FC’s official note account, and the discussion process was shared with fans, supporters, and the general public.
