Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President: Toru Yamanaka) supports photographer Laskey Pictures’ photography course for those who want to learn photography. A portrait photography course will be held at Kenko Tokina Studio (2F, 5-68-10 Nakano, Nakano-ku, Tokyo) on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th. The participation fee is 7,200 yen (tax included) for class A on January 6th (Saturday), and 8,000 yen (tax included) for class 1 and 2 on January 7th (Sunday).
The friendly atmosphere among the participants has been well-received, and there are also other fun things to do besides taking photos, such as posting the photos taken on SNS and further communicating with each other. Please consider participating.
The Doki Portrait Photography Course 2024 is currently offered by Laskey Pictures as Class A, which is “one package that covers everything from camera settings to basic portrait photography,” and “Let’s take impactful portraits with exotic models!” For this reason, we will be holding Parts 1 and 2 of Class B, a photography course for newly joined model Rose, in the first week of every month. -In Class A, you will learn the following-
・The model for Class A is LUNA.
・You can enjoy it by participating once or continuously.
・Let’s make photography a hobby from now on. Let’s take pictures of people. It is especially suitable for those who say.
・This is a 120-minute course, and the first 40 minutes will include a step-by-step classroom lecture on the basics of photography, as well as camera settings.
・In the second half of the session, 80 minutes, we will actually photograph models in the studio or outdoors to learn the content of the lecture.
・You will learn useful photography methods, including how to use lighting such as strobes when indoors, and how to use strobes and reflectors when outdoors.
・With the support of the staff of Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd., the event will be held in a studio attached to a directly managed supplies shop, so the environment is perfect.
・Whether the second half of the practical session will be held in a studio or outdoors will be determined depending on the weather on the day and the number of participants.

・You will be able to understand how to use your own camera.
・You will be able to take wonderful portrait photos both indoors and outdoors. ・You will be able to step up to taking photos that reflect your own image and intentions.
・Those who meet certain conditions can present their work at a joint photo exhibition at the Ken Court Kinner Gallery. (*Judgment system/biennial/participation fee not included)
-I’ll teach you like this-
・The first 40 minutes will be a lecture while looking at a monitor, and classroom style while touching your own camera.
・In the second half, you will actually take pictures of the model with your own camera and lens.
・If there are lenses available for rent from Kenko Tokina that match your camera mount, you can try them out for free.
Please consult the staff each time.
・This course is not a photo session, but a “photography course.” It is a style of “quality over quantity”.
On-site shooting will be individual shooting based on rotation. Side photography is not allowed unless you have permission.
An instructor will sit next to the photographer and provide one-on-one advice. ・In order to allow more time for each person to take photos during the actual shooting, please prepare for the next photo shoot based on the first photo shoot while waiting for your turn.
I think it would be helpful for participants to view the shooting results and exchange information with each other.
・Have fun shooting and learning in a homely atmosphere.
・In addition to this class, we will also hold special sessions exclusively for participants, and we will inform you of the
opportunities for outdoor photography and concept studio photography that are more practical.

・Your own digital camera with interchangeable lenses (camera with manual mode. Smartphones, compact digital cameras, etc. are not allowed)

・If you are not familiar with handling your own camera, please bring the instruction manual with you.
– Strobes and lighting are not necessary as studio equipment will be used. *If your camera has a special hot shoe shape, you may not be able to use the studio strobe, so please contact us in advance.

・If you wish to use it for SNS etc., please send the retouched photographic data to the instructor. Advice on finishing etc. may be provided, but only photos that are approved can be used.
