A pop-up shop will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular work “Grand Blue” currently being serialized in Kodansha’s youth manga “Good! Afternoon”.
This time, the stage will be 5 venues that are synonymous with Grand Blue, the “holy places for alcohol.” The product lineup includes newly drawn illustrations that will be unveiled for the first time. Nine gorgeous characters in swimsuits will welcome fans who are looking forward to the 10th anniversary.
The venue will feature life-sized panels and photo spots where you can experience the worldview of the work.
In addition to their products, Beans Akabane also has a Grand Blue kitchen car. “Grand Blue Sour” collaboration drinks and food will be sold for a limited time with a concentration that matches each character’s “drinking level”.
For every purchase of 2,000 yen or more including tax for all products, you will receive a 10th anniversary special novelty postcard at random.

Grand Blue
A Japanese manga based on the original story by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimiyoshi Yoshioka. Serialization began in the May 2014 issue of “good! Afternoon” (Kodansha). The story is about scuba diving, but in addition to the diving scenes, the story also depicts interactions within the circle, such as drinking parties. A vivid youth drama depicting the ups and downs of campus life, where people enjoy diving with friends, sometimes drinking and exposing their bodies and souls.
It was made into an anime in July 2018, and ranked 7th in the Next Break category of the “Everyone’s Choice TSUTAYA Comic Award 2018” in the same year. In August 2020, it will be made into a live-action movie starring Ryo Ryusei and Takatake Inukai. As of April 2024, the cumulative number of copies has exceeded 9 million copies.
