Specialized Ginza has been renovated with major changes to its lineup and exhibits.
A comprehensive store centered on S-Works
Specialized Japan LLC (Headquarters: Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative: Mitsunari Kidowaki, hereinafter referred to as “Specialized”) has reopened “Specialized Ginza”. The store has been reborn as a store that mainly exhibits the company’s latest road bikes and S-Works, its top-of-the-line lineup, and provides a better shopping and riding experience for riders not only from across Japan, but also from Asia and the world.
Becoming a store that can provide a diverse range of rider journeys
[Image 1:×2000.jpg] Specialized Ginza, which opened in 2018, is the only Specialized e-Bike specialty store in Japan and has a wide variety of test rides available since the company’s e-Bike launch in the last four years. We have provided many riders with the joy of riding around town on an assisted sports bike.
The store, which has always been offering cutting-edge bikes, will be renovated in the spring of 2024 in line with changes in the cycling scene since the coronavirus pandemic. In order to allow popular road bike users and domestic and international tourists to experience Specialized’s innovations, we have renovated the exhibit to center around the company’s highest grade S-Works, which is packed with even more of the latest technology. Founded in 1974, Specialized is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It will not only be a base for shopping, but will also be a base for disseminating information about the company’s journey so far and the future of the cycling scene.
All 3 Icons representing Specialized road bikes on display
[Image 2:×2000.jpg] Among Specialized’s lineup, the road bike category is extremely popular in Japan. The three carbon road bikes Tarmac, Aethos, and Roubaix are called “3 Icons,” and all of them are on display in the store. Tarmac, which has established an absolute position in road racing, Aethos, an ultra-light bike that unleashes the rider with ultimate ride quality, and Roubaix, which gives courage to take on challenges with overwhelming running performance and comfort, all of these 3 Icons are… A performance road bike that meets the diverse needs of riders. We also plan to sell limited edition models from June onwards, so road bike fans should keep an eye out so they don’t miss out.
[Image 3:×2000.jpg] Colorful frames centered on S-Works lined up on the newly added frame wall
[Image 4:×2000.jpg] An impressive frame wall has been added to the right wall as you enter the store. In addition to complete bikes, Specialized also offers a wide range of framesets that allow each rider to build their own custom bike. We have lined up a variety of frame sizes and colors to meet the needs of avid sports bike fans. In addition to road bikes, we also have Diverge STR frames, gravel bikes with rare front and rear suspension.
E-Bike also continues to be available with many test bikes.
[Image 5:×2000.jpg] Even after the renewal, we will continue to focus on e-bikes and offer a rich lineup and test rides. A new cut sample of the bike body will also be on display, allowing you to experience Specialized’s unique e-bike technology. The beauty of how the Turbo system fits perfectly within the sleek form will give you a sense of the passion that Specialized puts into developing e-Bike.
[Image 6:×2000.jpg] Planned press events and various reception events
[Image 7:×2000.jpg] In addition to shopping and test rides, we are also planning events and exhibitions of special bikes that can only be seen at the Ginza store. Please look forward to the future developments of Specialized, which has been a leader in the cycling scene.

About Specialized
A sports bicycle brand headquartered in California, USA. Our raison d’être is “Pedal the Planet Forward,” and we aim to improve people’s health and quality of life through cycling, as well as improve environmental and social issues. In order to meet the needs of riders who want to ride faster, in 2013, Specialized became the first company in the industry to build an in-house wind tunnel testing facility exclusively for bicycles, the Win Tunnel, in pursuit of aerodynamics. We provide motorcycles and other equipment to top teams that mass-produce victories in world tours such as the Tour de France. In particular, the high-end model called “S-WORKS” means the highest grade product actually used by professionals, and is also supported by many serious amateur riders. Our relentless pursuit of technological innovation is reflected in our code of conduct: “Innovate or Die.” In addition, we have developed a wide lineup not only for top athletes but also for general users around the world, including mountain bikes, road bikes, cross bikes, kids bikes, and e-bikes, which utilize the same technology as the bikes ridden by top professional riders. We are selling models. [Specialized Japan] Official website – online store – Official Instagram – @specialized_japan official
