On Monday, May 6th, H&M will be hosting the Met Gala, the annual fashion festival where world-famous stars gather together.
, and appeared on the red carpet with a group of luxury guests wearing custom looks created by H&M’s in-house design team.

H&M
This design team, which is in charge of collection designs such as Studio, will be working on the theme of the special exhibition “Sleeping” to be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in New York.
Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the official dress code “The Garden of Inspired by “The Garden of Time,” we went back into the archives of H&M, which started as a fashion boutique in Sweden in 1947.

Drawing on the optimism and ultra-femininity of late 1940s and 1950s fashion, the design team modernized the look with dramatic
embellishments in soft, romantic hues inspired by the natural world.

H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection unveiled in 2017 at this special exhibition to be held at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from Friday, May 9th to Monday, September 2nd. Two innovative looks will be exhibited alongside around 50 pieces of historical significance.
Two looks, including a pale pink dress made from organic silk, viscose and recycled polyester, and a ruffled maxi dress made from recycled polyester, demonstrate how fashion can have an emotional connection to the natural world. This work embodies what is possible.

“The Met Gala is an event of great cultural significance and a platform for H&M to showcase what it can do to create bespoke fashion. With this year’s theme, we are creating a modern, one-of-a-kind piece inspired by H&M’s rich heritage. H&M
Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Womenswear and Creative Advisor

“My Met Gala looks are always very intuitive. I like to stick to a theme, but I always want to be confident and completely myself that stands out from the crowd. This look commemorates a special moment.” Adwoa
