Shizuoka Venture Startup Association (R) establishment event held *~More than 70 people from startups and media with ties to Shizuoka participated~*
This time, Shizuoka Venture Startup Association (R) (Representative Director: Yasutomo Suzuki, Location: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture URL:

) held a commemorative event for the establishment of the association on May 1, 2024. More than 70 participants gathered, including startup managers (companies in Shizuoka Prefecture and people from Shizuoka Prefecture), media, startup supporters, and local government officials.
At the event, in addition to greetings from the chairman and directors, we also provided an explanation to the participants about the background of our association’s establishment and future activities.
Chairman Yasutomo Suzuki convened business leaders who are active in various parts of the prefecture as directors, and provided start-up support throughout the prefecture “all in Shizuoka,” and made Shizuoka Prefecture an advanced prefecture for start-ups. They talked about actively working to produce ventures and startups that aim to go global, and to attract companies from outside the prefecture. In a panel discussion between the chairman and directors, a heated discussion took place regarding the environment and policies surrounding startups in Shizuoka.
Many startup managers and other people participated, and we received many interviews from local media. The event ended with a photo session and interviews.
