“Let’s start by understanding diversity! Inclusive Design Mini Workshop “Introductory Edition” will be held on May 23, 2024 (Thursday)! @Inclusive Design Studio CULUMU
*We will be holding an updated version of the popular workshop so far with even more fulfilling content! *
[Event overview]
“Inclusive design” is attracting attention these days as there is a need to recognize and utilize the diversity of society. Inclusive design involves involving diverse people who have been excluded as minorities as users of products and services, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and foreigners, from the early stages of planning and developing the design process of products and services, and thinking together with them. This is a progressive design approach.

At CULUMU, we promote projects through co-creation with various users and promote inclusive design. In this event, as an introductory course, we will use inclusive design cards developed based on projects that CULUMU has been involved in and the experiences of NPOs that STYZ has supported, to explore the perspectives of various people such as the elderly and people with disabilities. You can experience some of our design approaches.
