We received a letter of appreciation from Global Compact Network Japan. *Ageha will serve as secretary of GC’s in-house penetration research subcommittee in 2023 and support its activities. *

* ■Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ)*
Global Compact Network Japan (GCNJ) was established in December 2003 as the Japanese branch of the United Nations Global Compact. It is an organization that promotes the implementation of the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the four areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and the penetration of SDGs into management at private companies and related organizations. As of April 2024, we have 604 members and aim to demonstrate responsible and creative leadership together with our members.

It is one of the oldest subcommittees, having continued since its inception in 2008. (Case Study Subcommittee for the first year only, name changed thereafter) Participating members share issues and countermeasures for disseminating CSR within the company, as well as discovering and introducing information useful for dissemination within the company from past activities and external information, etc. We also hold lectures, games, and exchange information with experts. In addition, in order to reaffirm the value of the GC itself, we provide a place to share the activities of other subcommittees and information sent by the secretariat, and strive to gain a broader understanding of the overall picture.
