This summer, Yuki Ishikawa will take on the challenge of reaching the top of the world on stage in Paris.

Date of birth: December 11, 1995, Birthplace: Aichi Prefecture Due to the influence of her older sister, she started playing volleyball when she was in the fourth grade of elementary school. During his high school days, he played an active role as an ace and became the first player in history to win the high school triple crown (inter-high school, national polity, and spring high school
volleyball) for two years in a row.
After entering Chuo University, he became the youngest member of the All-Japan national team at the time.
Furthermore, he became the first Japanese university student to play in Italy’s Serie A, one of the world’s three major leagues.
After graduating from university, he belonged to a club in Italy’s Serie A as a professional, and in his third season as a professional, he won a cup match with his team, Milan, and experienced his first title.
In the 2023/2024 season, they will finish the season in a good way, achieving 3rd place in the playoffs, the highest ranking in Milan’s history.
As a member of the Japan national team, he has been leading the team as captain since 2021. In the 2023 Nations League, they will win a medal in an international competition for the first time in 46 years. In the same year’s World Cup/Olympic qualifiers, they finished second in their group and earned the right to participate in the Paris Olympics on their own for the first time in 16 years.
