In Minato Ward, we are working on a wide range of collaborations, not only between local governments, but also between the ward and residents nationwide, and between industries, with the aim of achieving regional development and enriching the lives of residents. As one of these efforts, in FY2020, we implemented the first “Workation in collaboration with local governments” in the country, with the aim of business matching and continuous collaboration and exchange between businesses in the ward and partner local governments. Did. In 2020, the number of participating local governments will increase from 15 last year to 32, and it is expected that this will lead to the participation and interaction of even more businesses within the ward.
Minato City Collaborative Local Government Workation Promotion Project The ward will recruit businesses to participate in the workation program for businesses within the ward proposed by the ward’s partner local governments, and will subsidize a portion of the expenses required for participants, such as lodging.

FY2020 Implementation Overview
■Recruitment period May 10th to June 17th, 2020
■Participants: Private companies, organizations, etc. located in Minato City ■Participating local governments: 32 local governments
■Decision time Late June 2020
■Implementation period: August to December 2020
■Subsidy
●Money Amount Up to 200,000 yen per business (subsidy rate 10/10) ●Eligible expenses: Expenses required for each night of accommodation (up to 10,000 yen per person) and transportation expenses
*Maximum subsidy amount per person: 50,000 yen *Cannot be used in conjunction with other similar subsidy systems
●Article 1. Participating in the experience program prepared by the partner local government
        2.Requires stay of 1 night or more
          3. After implementing the project, share your experiences on your company website or the ward website, etc.
