The Agency for Cultural Affairs is pleased to announce that it will begin accepting applications for applications for the FY2020 2020 “Project to Promote the Utilization of Attractive Cultural Properties Across the Nation” from May 10th (Friday).

This project supports the creation of high added value through the high-quality and bold use of nationally designated cultural properties (including World Cultural Heritage Sites and Japanese Heritage Sites) that Japan is proud of.
About the purpose and direction of this project
We aim to make high-quality and bold use of nationally designated cultural properties (special historical experiences, nighttime use, unique venues, etc.), and create and utilize high-value-added content that satisfies the intellectual curiosity of inbound tourists. Our goal is to reinvest resources into conservation.
At that time, we will incorporate coaching (improvement guidance) from experts on the project content, project implementation structure, etc., and proceed with the project with the accompaniment of experts, so that the utilization does not end at a superficial level.
