Miyazaki Electric Power Group (Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Representative Director: Shintaro Ono) is in charge of everything from proposal to EPC in collaboration with Asahi Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Representative Director: Shoji Kimura). We have installed self-consumption solar power generation equipment in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture (President: Ryutaro Omori). This is the first installation for the Miyazaki Electric Power Group at a company that farms eel and manufactures and sells kabayaki eel. It will operate completely for self-consumption, and is expected to cover approximately 24% of its annual electricity consumption with electricity generated from solar power, reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 322 tons (*) annually.
Approximately 49% of the electricity purchased during the day is expected to be reduced.
(*) The amount of CO2 absorbed by cedar trees is equivalent to approximately 23,000 cedar trees.
