Born in Osaka in 1976
He inherited his father’s business at the age of 20 and closed it down at the age of 24. After that, he jumped into the real estate industry and after experiencing all kinds of work related to architecture and real estate, he became independent in 2010. In 2014, he established Vacant House Utilization Co., Ltd. with the desire to “solve Japan’s vacant house problem.” In January 2017, we dispatched our own investigators to investigate the actual situation of vacant houses. In August 2018, we raised 62.1 million yen through a third-party allotment and released “AKIDAS”, a vacant house utilization data system. In January 2019, the head office was moved to Tokyo. We have built the vacant house matching platform “Vacant House Utilization Navi,” a new initiative that connects local residents, businesses, and local governments to address the issues of vacant house owners. In November 2021, we started “Setagaya Vacant House Utilization Navi” in collaboration with Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, and in June 2022, we will launch a vacant house countermeasure package for local governments nationwide, from cloud management of vacant properties to utilization mediation.
