The Japan Flying Disc Association (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that Bunka Shutter Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) has been selected as the official sponsor for 2024-2025.

The Japan Flying Disc Association, a general incorporated association, is the governing body for the 11 flying disc events in Japan, which is a member of the World Flying Disc Federation, and is the governing body of the Japanese Olympic Committee, Japan Sports Association, Japan Sports Fairness Promotion Organization, and Japan Anti-Doping Agency. We are a member of the Japan World Games Association, the Japan Recreation Association, and the University Sports Association, and carry out projects such as holding various all-Japan
championships, sending athletes to world tournaments, and promoting activities.
Flying disc is a “highly competitive sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC),” and at the same time, it is a “sports for everyone and lifelong sport” that can be enjoyed by multiple generations, multiple disciplines, and multiple aspirations. It has grown into a popular sport in over 100 countries and regions on five continents, including Japan. With this official sponsorship agreement, we will further develop the environment in Japan to make flying discs more enjoyable.
