Alche Studio develops the second Fortnite original game “HUMAN HEAD CLIMB” launched by TBS
Collaboration with popular photo na YouTuber LiaqN!

TBS TV) is working with popular photo na YouTuber LiaqN to create the online game “Fortnite,” which is said to be played by 500 million people worldwide.
I was in charge of the development of the original game “HUMAN HEAD CLIMB” launched on “Fortnite”.
This project is about Fortnite’s new creative mode (Creative 2.0) that appeared last year, and “Unreal Editor for

HUMAN HEAD
CLIMB is a new kind of death run with the theme of a giant 80m tall human head. It is a game where you aim for the best score in the time it takes to reach the top.
Each head has over 100 face parts such as eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, and combined with the eerie worldview, you can enjoy the thrill of a horror game. Each face part has a unique nuisance effect, and the player must avoid them while climbing. Dozens of disturbing effects are available to match the worldview of the stage, such as a baby’s pacifier being blown away, strong winds from sneezing, a snotty nose shaking, and a snow woman’s breath causing her feet to freeze and slip when she hits them.
Each time you clear a new stage, a new stage is unlocked and that information is saved along with your score. You can play in multiple stages such as Creepy, Baby, Madonna, Hay Fever, and Yuki Onna.
In addition, taking advantage of our past experience in directing music live performances, the large amount of facial animation and capture data used in this work was all original data and produced in a short period of time. I think you can enjoy the content as an example of unique character technology in Fortnite.

This game was created in collaboration with “LiaqN” (Rian), a “Photona YouTuber” who is extremely popular among elementary and junior high school students for live streaming Fortnite games. We asked LiaqN, who has played and distributed many Fortnite games, to participate in planning meetings and test play, and we received opinions from his perspective, which we then improved and reflected in the actual game.
