Approximately 20,000 people visited Ariake Dinosaur Garden, a dinosaur event enjoyed by a wide range of age groups.

“TOKYO Kids Festa” was held at Ariake Garden, a commercial complex operated by Sumitomo Real Estate Commercial Management.
We would like to report on the situation at Ariake Dinosaur Garden (hereinafter referred to as Ariake Dinosaur Garden).
* A new dinosaur event that can be enjoyed by a wide range of age groups from babies to adults *
“Ariake Dinosaur Garden” was held for 10 days from April 27, 2024 (Saturday) to May 6, 2024 (Monday, holiday). Approximately 20,000 people came to enjoy the Tyrannosaurus Race, Baby Saurus Crawling Race, Dinosaur Balloon Exhibit, Dinosaur Workshop, Dinosaur Stamp Rally, Dinosaur Photo Spot, Fluffy Kids Land, and Food Trucks.
In particular, the main event, the Tyrannosaurus Race, attracted more than 800 participants over seven days. This event attracted
participants of various age groups, mainly families from the city center, and brought the excitement of the tourist season to the Ariake area of Tokyo.
Sumitomo Real Estate Commercial Management will continue its activities to brighten and enrich local life through the holding of the TOKYO Kids Festa.

“TOKYO Kids Festa” aims to provide an opportunity for families raising children to have fun together, create memories appropriate to the season and age, and create connections between local residents. This event is a collective term for multiple events planned and carried out by Sumitomo Real Estate Commercial Management Co., Ltd. at Sumitomo Real Estate Group facilities such as Ariake Garden and Haneda Airport Garden.

The area around Ariake Garden is home to many families with children, and events for children are held throughout the year. This year’s Golden Week is “TOKYO”
As part of “Kids Festa,” we held the “Ariake Dinosaur Garden,” an event where parents and children can participate together for the first time.
The main event, the Tyrannosaurus Race, attracted not only local families, but also adult friends and participants from far away. After the race, we can see people smiling and talking while out of breath, and happy parents and children high-fiving each other, and we feel that this is a new social event that transcends generations and regions. We hope to develop this event into a standard event that will help children born and raised in the area become attached to their hometown.

The large-scale complex “Ariake Garden” consists of a large mall, a theater-style hall “Tokyo Garden Theater” that can accommodate up to about 8,000 people, “Ariake Shiki Theater” a theater dedicated to the Shiki Theater Company, a hot bath facility and a hotel with 749 rooms, and a total of about 1,500 units.
